The difference between the Medtrum 200U and 300U pump models is the insulin reservoir capacity. The 200U model has a maximum capacity of 200 units of insulin, while the 300U model can hold up to 300 units.

This difference only concerns the reservoir size, not the underlying technology. The choice between the two models depends on each individual's insulin requirements.

The 200U model is suitable for individuals with lower daily insulin requirements, for example, less than 60 to 70 units per day. Its advantages include a smaller, lighter, and more discreet pump.

The 300U model is recommended for individuals requiring higher daily insulin doses, for example, more than 70 to 100 units per day.

A significant advantage of the 300U model is its three-day autonomy without refilling, offering greater convenience and being particularly beneficial for individuals with insulin resistance.

Insulin injection management consists of two components:

- A smartphone with the Medtrum EasyPatch app installed

- A pump

The EasyPatch mobile app allows you to monitor and control your insulin pump via Bluetooth. Measurements from the last 90 days are accessible from an external device.
