AcuCare™ medical masks are a range of accessories for non-invasive ventilators designed to deliver airflow to patients.
All masks in this range meet the following criteria:
• Suitable for patients weighing over 30 kg who are already receiving non-invasive positive pressure ventilation.
• Single-use, for short-term treatment of a single patient in a hospital setting only (maximum 7 days).
The AcuCare™ F1-0 mask is a sealed medical mask that delivers air from an external ventilator to the patient. The F1-1 mask is a sealed medical mask equipped with an anti-asphyxia valve (AAV).
Both masks are designed for use in breathing circuits or positive pressure ventilation (PPV) devices equipped with an exhaled gas scavenging system or assistive devices.
The AcuCare™ F1-4 is a sealed medical mask with an integrated SCFA (Self-Containing Airflow) system that directs the airflow generated by a positive pressure ventilation (PAP) device towards the patient.
AcuCare Mask Fitting Guide
1) Use the sizing guide on the packaging to determine the correct mask size.
Position the mask cushion over your nose and mouth, then place the head strap over your head.
2) While holding the mask against your face, pull each side strap backward along the side of your face. The straps should pass under your ears.
3) The side arms of the mask should bend backward when the straps are tightened.
4) Gently adjust the top strap.
5) Start ventilation according to the ventilator's operating instructions and connect the mask to the ventilation system.
6) If air leaks around the cushion, reposition the mask on your face for a better seal. Readjust the head straps if necessary.
Tips:
Do not overtighten the straps; Air fills the double-walled cushion, ensuring a comfortable seal.

The mask:
• is intended for use by patients weighing over 30 kg who have been prescribed non-invasive positive pressure therapy;
• is a disposable device intended for short-term treatment (up to 7 days) of a single patient, in a hospital setting only;
• is designed for use with breathing circuits or positive pressure ventilation devices equipped with a mechanism for expelling exhaled or supplemental gases.
*** Patient Groups/Conditions Affected
Obstructive lung diseases (e.g., chronic obstructive pulmonary disease), restrictive lung syndromes (e.g., parenchymal lung diseases, chest wall diseases, neuromuscular diseases), central respiratory regulation disorders, and obesity-related hypoventilation syndrome (OHSS).

Leak-free masks ensure an effective connection between the therapy device and the patient.
*** Removal
Use the quick-release clips to remove the headband.
Remove the mask and headband from the patient's head.
*** Cleaning
Disposable mask (headband included).
Replace if excessively soiled.
Wipe gently with a clean, slightly damp cloth.
Do not remove the mask.
*** Precautions
Use only with compatible devices.
Discontinue use if adverse effects occur. May cause dental or jaw pain; consult a healthcare professional if necessary.
Do not expose to direct sunlight.
Remove all packaging before use.
