Resuscitation Ventilator: The Stellar 150 Respiratory Device

This device is suitable for non-invasive and invasive applications (when using the ResMed leak valve). It can be used statically in a medical setting or at home, or used in an outpatient setting, for example in a wheelchair.

Patient Interface

The Stellar can accommodate both masks and tracheostomy tubes. To choose the specific type of patient interface, go to the Settings menu, then select Clinical Settings and then Advanced Settings.

Humidification

A humidifier is particularly recommended for people with dry nose, throat, or mouth. For more details on using a humidifier for noninvasive ventilation, and for invasive ventilation.

The Stellar is recommended for use only with ResMed recommended airways and accessories. The use of alternative airways or accessories could result in injury or damage to the device.

The Stellar can be used with masks (such as CPAP masks) and tracheostomy tubes. To configure the patient interface type, go to the Settings menu, choose Clinical Settings, and then go to Advanced Settings.
