Endoscopic ligation kit ZKSK

Endoscopic ligation kit ZKSK BL18-7A for sale in Tunisia at a good price/quality ratio. This single-use endoscopic ligator is used for ligating esophageal varices during endoscopic procedures. Endoscopic esophageal variceal ligation (EVL) involves blocking the blood supply to congested veins using ligatures, which encourages the body to develop new tissue within the esophagus.

Gastroenterology Endoscopy Accessories - Multi-band Endoscopic Ligator

ZKSK BL18-7A Multi-band Endoscopic Ligator – 7 Rings – Gastroenterology

Endoscopic ligation kit ZKSK Tunisia

Endoscopic ligation kit ZKSK Tunisia

This device allows for the sequential placement of 7 elastic rings without removing the endoscope, ensuring efficient, fast, and safe procedures.

The multi-ring ligator is a non-sterile, single-use device. Insert the loading catheter (with stainless steel trigger) into the accessory channel of the endoscope and advance it gradually until it protrudes from the endoscope tip.

Product Overview

Pump the loading catheter in short bursts while simultaneously threading the trigger wire through the endoscope and the handle. Secure the trigger wire to the hook at the tip of the loading catheter. Attach the ligator body to the end of the endoscope, ensuring it is fully advanced. When attaching the ligator body to the distal end of the endoscope, be careful not to pinch the trigger wire between the two. Position the handle in the bidirectional position, then slowly rotate it clockwise to wind the trigger wire onto the drum until it is taut.

An endoscope with a loading catheter and body is inserted into the patient's stomach or esophagus to reach the affected area.

The endoscopic multi-ring ligator is a single-use esophageal variceal ligation system.

The endoscopic multi-ring ligator kit includes the following:

  • A ligator magazine containing six pre-loaded, high-quality elastomer ligation rings and an ultra-clear polycarbonate body providing a wide field of view. The elastomer ligation rings contain natural rubber latex and should therefore be handled with care.
  • A smooth, one-way movement deployment handle for reliable ligation placement.
  • A loading catheter.
  • A flushing syringe.

Detailed Description

The ZKSK Multi-Ring Esophageal Variceal Ligation is a single-use, non-sterile instrument specifically designed for endoscopic ligation.

It typically uses four to nine elastic rings attached to the distal end of the catheter.

These rings encircle the varices, creating controlled contractions that lead to venous necrosis.

This procedure eliminates the varices.

This device is compatible with standard endoscopes, ensuring precise positioning.

Thanks to its adjustable suction and rapid ligation technique, this device offers significant therapeutic advantages.

Indications

Multiple ligation is used to treat esophageal varices and is particularly indicated in patients with cirrhosis, or other conditions causing portal hypertension.

This device helps prevent bleeding and its serious complications, such as hemorrhage and death.

It is used by physicians when esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD) reveals varices with a risk of bleeding. By applying a rubber band to the varices, the ligation device induces tissue necrosis, thus reducing the risk of bleeding in high-risk patients.

Features of Multiple Ligation

Multiple Deployment: This ligation kit allows for the placement of 4 to 9 ligation loops in a single procedure, thus optimizing treatment outcomes.

Rotating Head: The kit's rotating head facilitates manipulation inside the esophagus, allowing precise access to varices from all angles.

Ergonomic Design: The ergonomic design ensures a comfortable grip for practitioners, reducing fatigue during prolonged procedures and guaranteeing greater surgical precision.

Single-Use Components: Single-use components minimize the risk of cross-infection and simplify instrument preparation.

Durable Construction: This ligation kit is made from high-quality materials, ensuring stable and reliable performance during procedures.

Integrated Suction: Some models are equipped with a suction function that allows for more precise placement of the ligation loops by bringing the tissues together.

Epidemiology and Clinical Context

According to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), 3.9 million people in the United States suffer from esophageal varices, a potentially fatal condition often associated with cirrhosis, responsible for more than 38,000 deaths annually.

Esophageal varices are caused by portal hypertension, itself due to a slowing of blood metabolism in the liver. This portal hypertension forces blood back into the esophageal veins, causing them to dilate and sometimes rupture.
